BDO BLM ESR RANGE FENCE CONSTRUCTION

The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and supervision to construct approximately 99,700 linear feet of 4-wire permanent fence (3 strands barbed wire, 1 strand smooth wire) with 16.5' maximum steel post spacing, including 16 barbed wire gates, 34 three-post steel pipe end panels, 46 five-post steel pipe corner panels, and 64 steel pipe stress panels. All fencing materials are provided by the Government and must be picked up from the BLM Wareyard in Boise. Work includes driving steel posts, stretching and attaching wire, constructing steel pipe end/corner/stress panels, installing gates with mechanical gate closers, and cleaning up all debris. The project site is located approximately 9 miles east of Orchard, Idaho, in flat to rolling terrain with rock outcrops, accessible by 4-WD vehicles.
