Reducing fuels adjacent to these fire containment lines will provide defensible space for fire management activities within the project area which includes Wildland Urban Interface. Fuels reduction will be accomplished by the following activities: Removing Included Sawtimber from the contract area Removing smaller diameter trees (Small Roundwood) from the contract area and delivering the material to a designated disposal site.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 113310. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
