Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1378 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for To purchase on a Brand Name or Equal basis 2.0 x 492 IRRILAND NS IRRILAND REEL needed to pre-water up weeds in fallow fields and then to water up new crops after planting.

The contractor shall provide one 2.0 x 492 IRRILAND NS IRRILAND REEL (or equal) automatic hose-reel irrigator, meeting all salient characteristics including a fully hot-dipped galvanized drum and frame, trailer-style frame with turntable, front jack, and two rear stabilizers, pendle hitch, high-efficiency partial flow turbine and oil-filled gear box, easy-to-set controller with battery and solar panel, computer-controlled retraction speed, automatic brake, hose guide system, PTO shaft, galvanized sprinkler cart with adjustable width, and Tuf-Skin stainless steel liquid-filled pressure gauge. The hose is 2.0" I.D. x 492' long (63mm x 150m) with a 1.5" MBSP on the sprinkler cart, a 19' rubber supply hose with 2" B type fittings, and a 2" B type male x 2" MPT for water supply connection. Dimensions are 61" wide, 117" long, 71" tall; weights are 1,300 lbs dry and 2,000 lbs full of water. The contractor must ensure parts and professional service are available within 3 days. Delivery is F.O.B. destination to USDA-ARS-PWA Forage Seed and Cereal Research, 3455 NE Granger Ave, Corvallis, OR 97330, within 60 days after receipt of order.
