The procurement is for a Double-Stacked Eppendorf Innova S44i Refrigerated Incubator Shaker complex. The incubator shakers will be used to grow microbial cultures at a range of temperatures above and below ambient to perform molecular genetics study of genome integrity. The unit is a refrigerated three-stack incubator which can take 36x500 ml and 15x2000 ml Erlenmeyer flasks per incubator (108 and 45 total, respectively), operates between 4C and 80C and 20-400rpm, and samples must be incubated between 14 and 42C at 30-300rpm. Key capabilities include shaking speed 25 to 400 rpm, temperature control 2 to 80C, space saving grid door, and platform capacity for 15x2000ml flask and 8x2800ml flask.
