This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 236220 The small business size standard is 45.0M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The work includes removal of the existing standing seam metal roof (approximately 8,000 sq ft) and replacement with new roofing materials and all appurtenances. The contractor must replace any damaged sub-roof with new decking material and install ice and water shields (24-inch minimum along roof eaves). The project also includes installation of 8 skylights (21 inches x 85 inches) and gutters with 14 downspouts. The contractor shall use estimates of 8,000 sq ft of roof surface, 30% damaged sub-roof requiring replacement, and 700 linear feet of gutter with 14 downspouts for bidding purposes. The contractor must measure and verify actual quantities, which will be agreed upon with the Contracting Officer. A final report describing work completed, materials used, and warranty information is required before the end of the period of performance.
