Removal and replacment of six (6) existing full-duplex switchboard sections at SWPA’s New Madrid Substation with seven (7) new contractor-supplied sections.
The contractor shall remove six (6) existing full-duplex switchboard sections at SWPA's New Madrid Substation and replace them with seven (7) new contractor-supplied sections. The contractor will prepare and utilize existing temporary line-relaying and control racks to maintain system functionality during construction. Work includes disconnecting and disposing of old switchboard sections, supplying and installing new switchboard sections, performing modifications, adding cables and materials as required by the drawings, and making all electrical connections. The contractor must also perform factory tests, acceptance tests, and provide final as-built drawings. The work site is at New Madrid Substation: 292 Business Loop 55, New Madrid, MO 63869.
