(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, seeks to award a (Firm-Fixed-Price) to the offeror responsible whose proposal represents the best value to the Government.

This requirement is unrestricted.
The contractor shall provide service and maintenance support for one Axion BioSystems Maestro Pro instrument (serial number 11-00.04.00347). Service includes preventive maintenance (at least one visit per 12-month period), unlimited on-site corrective maintenance calls, all OEM parts and labor, technical support, and software support as applicable. All services must be performed by personnel trained and qualified to service the instrument. The contractor must provide a Field Service Engineer (OEM-trained or authorized) and a Service Coordinator/Technical Support Representative. The period of performance is one year beginning upon award. Deliverables include service coverage confirmation, preventive maintenance service reports, and corrective maintenance reports.
