DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work consists of maintenance dredging Banana River, Canaveral Barge Canal, and KARS Park Channel at the identified dredging areas indicated on the drawings. Dispose of dredged material in either DMMA 2B, DMMA 4, or both. Additional work includes but is not limited to environmental and water quality monitoring.

The project work consists of a base and three options. Base: EXCAVATION, UNCLASSIFIED, CANAVERAL BARGE CANAL STA. 237+00 TO BANANA RIVER CUT-20 STA.

25+00 AND KARS PARK CHANNEL CUT-2 STA. 0+00 TO KPC TURNING BASIN STA. 2+45.14 Option A: EXCAVATION, UNCLASSIFIED, BANANA RIVER CUT-15 STA.

0+66.78 TO HANGER AF TURNING BASIN STA. 9+00 Option B - EXCAVATION, UNCLASSIFIED, BANANA RIVER CUT-13 WESTERN WIDENER STA. 0+00 TO STA.

NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37 million. The Magnitude of Construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 230 calendar days after the Contractor receives the notice to proceed.

The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The total period of performance of 230 calendar days includes the following: Base Bid: 145 calendar days (inclusive of 60 calendar days for mobilization/demobilization) Option A: 45 calendar days Option B: 20 calendar days Option C: 20 calendar days THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE REQUIREMENT.
