Generator and Fuel Maintenance - Services

The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, labor, parts, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, incidental engineering services, overtime pay, weekend and holiday premium pay, travel expenses, and transportation necessary to perform all maintenance, inspection, testing, and other services required to maintain emergency generators and associated fuel storage systems. Tasks include: annual major preventive maintenance service on six emergency generators (lube oil/filter changes, battery system service, engine checks, fuel system inspection, coolant system service, controls verification, generator inspection); annual 4-hour load bank testing at 30%, 50%, and 75% of nameplate kW; annual conditioning, polishing, and fuel quality analysis for seven underground storage tanks; annual day tank maintenance (float switch, level sensor, fuel transfer pump testing, control verification); major cooling system service for two generators in the base year (drain, flush, fill, replace hoses, belts, clamps); and full battery replacements for all generators in option year 2.
