Bids are being accepted for the 2026 Fall Tree Planting Project. Bids for this project must be returned to the Urban Forester and Naturalist no later than 3:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The Contractor will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor,
and material bonds in a penal sum of at least 100% of the total amount payable by the terms of the
Contract. The Performance Bond will be for a period of at least one (1) year from the final payment
of the project.
The contractor will supply and plant 66 trees including State Street Maple, Serviceberry, Common Hackberry, Katsuratree, Eastern Redbud, Ginkgo, Honeylocust (Skyline Thornless), Kentucky Coffee Tree, Tulip Tree, Ironwood, London Planetree, Swamp White Oak, Chinkapin Oak, Heritage Oak, Schuette Oak, American Sentry Linden, Hybrid Elm, and White Pine, all with a caliper of 1.5"–1.75" except White Pine at 6 feet. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment for municipal tree planting, and the contractor must comply with all contract documents and specifications.
