2.1 Key Considerations:
• Acoustic silence: RETRO-Passive 2.0, or approved equal, is fanless and suitable for noise-sensitive
performance spaces; verify zero audible noise under load.
• Dimming fidelity: Confirm compatibility with existing stage and house dimming systems (SCR, TRIAC,
IGBT, modern digital dimmers) and test for smooth low-end performance.
• Color quality and consistency: Specify CCT and CRI to match stage lighting and house wash; plan
for tight binning and on-site color matching.
• Glare and beam control: Provide photometrics (IES) and optics/reflector options to control spill and
preserve sightlines.
• Serviceability during season: Phased installation plan to avoid performance disruptions; quick-swap
mounting and on-site spares recommended.
• Historic fixtures and sightlines: Confirm mechanical adapters and clearances for existing housings,
trims, and theatrical rigging.
• Warranty: Warranty on all products supplied for a period of sixty (60) months from date of shipping
against defects in materials or workmanship. If the manufacturer determines that the product is defective,
manufacturer will elect, at its sole discretion, to repair the product, replace the product, or refund the
purchase price of the product
• Approved Equal: Any requested approved equals must include a sample and be submitted by JULY 17,
2026.
