Sole Source Posting: Qualtrics CX Platform

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT ENGAGING IN A STANDARD PROCUREMENT PROCESS

Section 63G-6a-802 of the Utah Procurement Code allows the Jordan School District Purchasing Department to award a contract for a procurement item without engaging in a competitive process if a written determination is made that: (a) there is only one available source for the item; (b) the award to a specific supplier, service provider, or contractor is a condition attached to a donation that covers the full cost of the item, service, or construction; or (c) the item is required for trial use or testing to evaluate its benefit to the procurement unit.

The Jordan School District Purchasing Department has developed this sole source request form to document the determination that a sole source contract should be awarded to the specified vendor. This form is intended solely for comments on the proposed sole source procurement. It is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals.

To contest this sole source request before the public notice period closes, a person must submit the following on the Bonfire platform: (a) their company name and (b) a detailed explanation of the challenge, including documentation that demonstrates the existence of other competing sources for the procurement item.

If you agree that this proposed purchase is a valid sole source, no action is required.
