The PSC shall provide complete Phase 100 services consisting of a full bridge inspection of the three Firesteel River bridges (Firesteel No. 2, 3, and 4), including downslope footings and foundations, abutments, approaches, superstructure, decks, rails, wearing surface, connections and connectors, and attachment points. The work includes sounding of piers and abutments, condition analysis of all steel-to-stone and steel-to-concrete attachment/interface points, evaluation of each bridge approach and support pier for concrete condition, settlement/erosion, drainage, grading, and repairs or changes needed. The PSC must inspect and study potential scour impacts to all bridge footings/foundations, assess current status/condition of all elements, estimate remaining life of elements before replacement would be necessary, and provide high-level options and cost estimates for repair, maintenance, and other recommended actions. The PSC shall also gather all base data and design development information necessary for plans, submittals, and permit applications, and submit 50% and 90% draft study reports for owner review.
