To provide timber clearance and debris removal services support for the South Dakota Army National Guard in Rapid City, SD. This work will include timber clearingdebris mitigation at the South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) West Camp Property, encompassing starting with Phase 1 area and ending with Phase 3 areas.
Copy of Exhibit A SOW and Exhibit B Map is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Proposals shall conform to all instructions, conditions, and requirements included in the Request for Proposal. Prospective vendors are expected to carefully examine all documentation contained in this
RFP and be willing to accept each requirement term and condition.

The State will to respond to offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. In addition, all inquiries and the State’s response will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system. Offerors may not rely on any other
statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding any modifications to this
RFP.

The contractor will perform timber clearing, debris mitigation, and log removal or chipping operations at the SDARNG West Camp Property, encompassing Zone 1 through Zone 3 areas. Work includes removing or chipping all recently downed, dead standing, pre-windstorm old downed, and recently stacked timber; chipping and spreading remaining limbs, branches, and tree debris evenly across the project area; and scheduling progress meetings including a work kickoff, monthly progress meetings, and a substantial completion meeting by June 1, 2027. The contractor must use caution not to damage SDARNG property, may install marking stakes at their own expense, and must coordinate scheduling with the TSC/O&M points of contact.
