Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals
necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the
Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include:

Modernization of the existing traction passenger elevator #5 at the Mill B Lane Justice Center, 1 S Sierra
St, Reno, NV 89501. Modernization shall include, but is not limited to replacement of elevator controls,
AC basement-type machine, hoistway sheaves, hoist ropes, car door operators, clutches, headers,
tracks, and hangers, and new surface mounted-design car operating panel and digital LED car position
indicator. Hoistway entrances, door panels, and elevator interior shall be repaired and refinished to look
new.

The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements
for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with
certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
A mandatory pre-bid site walk will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Bidders are required
to meet at Reno Municipal Court (1 S Sierra St, Reno, NV 89501).
