(HIGHWAY RECONSTRUCTION) - Columbia County

The description and location of the project are as follows: This work is for reconstruction, milling and overlay including Superpave Asphalt Mixture WMA wearing and scratch course, Stone Matrix Asphalt Mixture WMA wearing course RPS, pavement markings, rumble strips, structure preservation/replacement, construction of sheet pile wall, bridge removal, drainage replacement, stormwater management facilities, selective removal of noxious and invasive species, highway lighting, and traffic signals, right-of-way fence replacement, lighting, and other miscellaneous construction within an overall length of 4.986 miles, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 80, SECTION 131, in COLUMBIA COUNTY HEMLOCK TOWNSHIP from approximately 9.0 miles EAST of Danville at segment 0210 offset 0591 to approximately 5.0 miles WEST of Mifflinville at segment 2410 offset 1795. And SR 487, Sec 103 involves the removal of the SR 487 bridge over an abandoned railroad, reconstruction over the abandoned railroad, mill and overlay, guide rail, drainage ditches, signing and pavement markings as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 487, SECTION 103, in COLUMBIA COUNTY, SCOTT TOWNSHIP from approximately 2.3 miles SOUTHEAST of Bloomsburg at segment 0280 offset 28 to approximately 0.6 miles NORTHWEST of Lightstreet at segment 0340 offset 1971.
