(RESURFACING/OVERLAYS) - Luzerne County

This project is for the resurfacing of approximately 4.87 miles of existing roadway on various routes in LUZERNE COUNTY, VARIOUS MUNICIPALITIES in the COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. This is a resurfacing project that includes an asphalt wearing course, scratch course, milling, line painting, base repair, shoulder backup, and guide rail replacement. Drainage work is also to be done on SR 2019. All work will be completed within the existing roadway. All maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) will be completed in accordance with the special provisions of the contract, Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Pub 213 (Work zone Traffic Control Guidelines), Pub 212 (Official Traffic Control Devices), Pub 35 (Qualified Products List for Construction, Bulletin 15), Pub 408, Pub 236 (Handbook of Approved Signs), and Pub 46 (Traffic Engineering Manual). All MPT will consist of short-term patterns.

The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg.
