Grant Technical Assistance
HECC is seeking one or more contractors to provide technical assistance to potential grant applicants in the completion and submission of their applications to HECC's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title II RFA, Oregon Conservation Corps RFA, Oregon Youth Corps RFA, and other HECC program RFAs as desired. Activities include assisting potential applicants in determining eligibility, being available and responsive to requests, helping understand complex program rules and regulations, providing guidance on RFA requirements, providing feedback on draft submission materials, sharing best practices of grant application writing, and providing guidance to applicants not selected for a grant award. Contractors will attend virtual introductory training meetings with HECC, attend check-in meetings, consult with HECC when unsure, participate in virtual information sessions, provide a clear process for accessing services, respond to inquiries within two business days, send a HECC-hosted survey to applicants, track work completed, and submit a final report detailing assistance inquiries, unique applicants, type of assistance, hours spent, and narratives on culturally responsive supports, applicant feedback, and lessons learned.
