The Telephonic Interpreter requirements range from providing scheduled and on-demand telephonic interpretation services during Client's office visits to high-volume call center support. Individuals receiving Services under Contracts awarded from this Joint Cooperative Procurement will be Clients of ODHS, OHA, or a Contracted Partner.

Contractors shall provide on-demand and pre-scheduled telephonic interpretation services for individuals with limited English proficiency who are clients of ODHS, OHA, or a contracted partner. Services include scheduled and on-demand interpretation during office visits, high-volume call center support, assistance in identifying spoken languages, listening to and interpreting voicemail, and sight-translating selected documents. Interpreters must meet specific qualifications for various interpretive categories (Court Certified, Court Registered, Court Certified Reciprocity, Court Qualified, Qualified Health Care, Certified Health Care, and Governmental Conversational Interpreter). No artificial intelligence may be used. Contractors must maintain a Quality Assurance Plan and an Emergency Management Plan, provide quarterly reporting, and ensure toll-free access with a 95% answer rate within five seconds and 95% interpreter availability within 30 seconds of language identification.
