Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare is solicitating for the following: Flooring repair services in two separate areas (Unit A and Unit B) at the Moritz building. In Unit A, following a buried water line repair in the concrete slab, a plumbing contractor will complete the rough concrete patch under a separate contract. The flooring contractor awarded this bid is responsible for the finish concrete work over the patched area and installation of new laminate-type flooring, matching the existing color and style as closely as possible and restoring the area to its original appearance prior to the work. In Unit B, facility maintenance staff will remove existing flooring; the flooring contractor is responsible only for installing new flooring matching the existing type, color, and style as closely as possible, restoring the area to its original appearance prior to the work. Repair areas in each unit are estimated at up to 10' x 10', with exact dimensions and existing flooring specifications to be confirmed at a pre-bid walk-through. The flooring contractor shall protect adjacent surfaces and furnishings during work, leave the area broom-clean upon completion, and comply with applicable building codes and manufacturer installation specifications. The flooring contractor should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant flooring and finish concrete installation experience, and must be properly licensed and insured to perform work in the State of Ohio. **Pre-bid walk-thru will take place on 7/21/26 at 1:00pm and 7/28/26 at 10:00am.Please meet in the lobby of the Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare- located at 2200 West Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223.Email Jennifer.Ball@dbh.ohio.gov with the walk-thru date you plan on attending. Please note that tools (including pocket knives) will not be permitted within the facility during the walk-thru. A tape measure will be permitted.

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) will award this project to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible supplier. The awarded supplier must include all applicable costs for delivery, setup, and warranty in their submission. Substitutions are not permitted unless explicitly authorized within the solicitation documentation. All pricing must be clearly entered into the OhioBuys item grid. If a separate quote is submitted, the total must exactly match the amount listed in the item grid. Discrepancies may result in disqualification. DBH reserves the right to purchase up to the full quantities specified in the sourcing project. Important: All vendor inquiries must be submitted exclusively through the Inquiry Field in OhioBuys. Questions submitted through other channels will not be considered. In the event of a tie bid, the sourcing project will be awarded to the first valid bid received by the date and time stamp in OhioBuys.
