- This multi-location project proposes to enhance the safety of the traveling public by improving intersections:
1. NY27 (Sunrise Highway) at Old Mill Road, Charing Cross Road, Chestnut Street, Bedford Avenue, Centre Avenue, Seaford Avenue, Oakland Avenue and Bellmore Avenue in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County. Turn lane extensions.
2. Glen Cove Road at Deer Run in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County. Turn lane extension.
3. NY106 (Newbridge Road) at Brookville Road in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County. Turn lane extension.
4. NY107 (Hicksville Road) at Lauman Lane in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County. Turn lane extension.
5. NY27 (Sunrise Highway) at County Line Road, Albany Avenue and Bayview Avenue in the Towns of Babylon and Oyster Bay, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Turn lane extensions.
6. NY27 (Sunrise Highway) from Magaw Place to Frank Street in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County. Diamond Grinding and Concrete Pavement Repairs eastbound and westbound directions.
7. NY231 (Deer Park Road) south of Seasons Way in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County. Turn lane extension.
8. NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) at Sycamore Avenue, Lakeland Avenue, Johnson Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Broadway Avenue and Wyandanch Boulevard in the Towns of Smithtown and Islip, Suffolk County. Turn lane extensions.
9. NY27 South Service Road at the ramp to southbound CR97 (Nicolls Road) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. Turn lane extension.
