Reservoir Tank Cleaning

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for a 30,000-gallon water reservoir to be cleaned. The reservoir is an epoxy lined, non-pressurized storage tank that holds water for the park. Contractors must provide all equipment needed to perform the service (submersible pumps, high-pressure washers, vacuums, disinfected gear, etc.). The scope of works includes but is not limited to:

• A visual inspection to note location and potential remedy for any flaws that may need repairs.

• The tank needs to be drained, with the help of park staff on site.

• Any waste material in the tank needs to be removed and brought to a DEC authorized facility for disposal.

• The tank interior needs to be cleaned.

• A post cleaning report that details the condition of the tank along with before and after photos.

• Post-disinfection bacteriological water testing to ensure the reservoir is safe for potable use before returning it to the distribution system
