SAC ADA Compliant Main Lobby Entrance Vestibules

The State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as "SUNY”) is soliciting proposals to provide all labor, material, equipment and services necessary to replace the North and West Vestibules with new main lobby entrance vestibules that will fully meet current ADA Standards for Accessible design at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794 services, as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook BID# 26/27-003MC, Exhibits, and PRC#2026018648.

The project aims to create inviting, code-compliant entryways that enhance accessibility and effectively accommodate high foot traffic in this essential collaboration space on campus. The project will replace the North and West vestibules, seamlessly integrating them with the existing glazed curtain wall façades. The project will feature a modern aesthetic that flows into the adjacent plaza for each vestibule, incorporating larger, code-compliant enclosures with a new door layout and to maximize ease of access.

The project will also include new building signage and lighting to meet the modern aesthetic. The new main lobby entrance vestibules will fully meet current ADA Standards for Accessible Design.

All work on this Contract is to be completed “within 540 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed”

** There will be a one-time, MANDATORY site visit for perspective bidders scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 am** (SHARP) at Stony Brook University, Research & Development Park, 1512 Development Drive, Research & Support Services Building 17, Conference Room A, Stony Brook, NY 11794-6010.

Only those contractors who attend the site visit will be eligible to bid on this project

All questions relating to this bid must be submitted in writing on Jaggaer to the Q & A Board. The question period closes on: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Bids must be submitted via Jaggaer in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
