The facility is powered via One (1) incoming 13.2kV Utility electrical service. The incoming feeder enters the facility via overhead lines to a switch mounted on a telephone pole, then proceeds underground into the Powerhouse Utility breaker switchgear. The total switchgear in the Powerhouse consists of (14) Eaton 150VCP-W750 vacuum circuit breakers. Protection is provided via (12) Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories SEL-751A protective relays. Backup Power is provided by (2) MTU 13.2kV, 2MW diesel generators. Protection is provided via (2) Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories SEL-700G protective relays. Tie Breaker is equipped with differential protective relays SEL-587Z. There are multiple MCC panels located in the facility, including two (2) located at the Powerhouse and (1) at the Wastewater Plant. There are (50) oil filled transformers on the site and (37) HV switches consisting of two (2) power feeds. There is one (1) transfer switch located at the rear gate and (1) at the Powerhouse MCC panel.
There is (1) Battery System located in the Powerhouse:
125V Battery System: (10) Deka Unigy 12AVR90 batteries - recently replaced in December 2025. (52) number of electrical manholes.
All equipment is to be serviced using this listed scope of work.
Contractor to provide generators and connect to critical buildings to maintain power during service, may have to be done during off hours. To be coordinated by the facility.
Install Fluke 4” Round, model Fluke-100-CLKT, UL listed Infra-Red windows in the incoming switchgear cabinets.
All work must be bid using prevailing wage rate.
