SOMERS SOLAR GRAZING SERVICES - RFI

The New York Power Authority ("NYPA") invites you to submit your company information and feedback under this Request for Information (RFI) Q26-7795KM Somers Solar Sheep Grazing Services.
This is intended to support NYPA’s understanding of current industry practices for grazing sheep on solar project sites and to identify interested parties to support sheep grazing efforts for the Somer Solar project located in the Town of Fort Edward, NY. This RFI also provides notice to potential sheep grazing service providers, or sheep farmers, (“Graziers”) with information on how to register your interest in participating as a sub-supplier through NYPA’s website, which will allow prospective Graziers to flag their interest for prime contractors responding to future requests for proposals (“RFPs”) for operations and maintenance services that include solar grazing services.

Your Submission should include:
· An executive summary of your company or organization
· Stated interest in supporting sheep grazing efforts at Somers Solar or within New York State
· Responses to any applicable questions from the RFI
· Completed PO Address Form
· Email and phone number for main point of contact

To request that your written responses remain confidential please mark them “Confidential” or “Proprietary.” Information labeled as such will be kept confidential to the extent allowed by Public Officers Law, Section 89(5). All information provided by any responder pursuant to this RFI shall become the property of NYPA upon receipt and without restriction or limitation on its use. Any subsequent actions recommended by NYPA will be subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
