A MANDATORY Site Visit will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM (PST) at the Thomas & Mack Center, 4505 S. Maryland Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89154. Meet representatives from UNLV at the entrance of Thomas & Mack near the escalators to sign-in for the Mandatory Site Visit.
UNLV is seeking an experienced contractor for the Thomas and Mack Center escalator modernization. Items included in the Scope of Work may require compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 338 and will require payment of prevailing wage in applicable situations (straight time and premium time). In the event of a discrepancy between the scope of work and NRS 338, NRS 338 prevails. Contractor and all Subcontractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, codes, or orders, including all environmental, labor laws, and OSHA regulations (minimum safety standards). Compliance also includes consensus standards (ANSI, NFPA, etc.) and any Project-specific safety requirements.
The scope includes escalator modernization at the Thomas & Mack Center, with potential compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 338 and prevailing wage requirements.
