This project involves creating temporary beach berms adjacent to the seawall above the tide line in the area between Haverhill Ave. and just north of the Hampton Beach Meter Patrol Office. Contractors will use the existing beach sand. The start date for the Project will be October 2, 2026 and the completion date will be no later than 2:00 pm on October 15, 2026.
The contractor shall mobilize on October 2, 2026, and construct 18 temporary beach berms from existing sand on the beach above the high tide line between Haverhill Ave and Church Street. Berms shall be approximately 100 feet in length, 16 feet wide, and 6 feet in height, spaced approximately 125 feet apart, and laid out to maintain clear line of sight and pathway from stairwell access points and ramps to the ocean. The contractor must provide at minimum one Caterpillar D6 or equivalent, one dump truck (10 wheel minimum), and one equipment trailer. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday to Sunday. The contractor must protect existing buried items, remove debris if encountered, and post warning signs for public safety.
