Operation and Maintenance of Metra Commuter Parking Facilities
The selected Operator shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, signage, insurance, bonds, etc. to fulfill the Agreement and Scope of Work. The Operator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, cleaning, repair, and other associated services required to ensure delivery of efficient cost-effective parking services, and keep the parking facilities (including equipment, surface parking, landscaping, etc.) in good repair and in working order. The scope includes approximately 10,600 parking spaces that Metra controls within the Chicago City limits (excluding Metra’s 515 South Financial Place/600 South LaSalle Street Parking Facility), as well as certain suburban locations. A portion of these facilities are fully improved with paving, lights and drainage; another portion are graveled right-of-way parking areas. The Operator must also conduct snow removal, landscaping, and regular inspections.
