The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, linens, and supplies for laundry service, including carts, hampers, laundry bags, and stands. Services include pickup and delivery three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., laundering items with a bacteriostatic pH of 5.5, finishing sheets and pillowcases by flatwork iron and other linens by fluff-drying and folding, providing monthly management reports, maintaining emergency supplies for up to two days, and ensuring clean and soiled laundry are kept completely separate. The contractor must also furnish an initial inventory of linens, provide a service representative, and comply with state licensing regulations and The Joint Commission standards.
