The contractor shall operate and monitor the wastewater treatment facility, wastewater collection system, lift stations, and stormwater system. Duties include process control adjustments, preventive/corrective/routine maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, controls/SCADA, filters, UV disinfection, and lift stations; collecting permit-required samples, coordinating lab testing, preparing regulatory reports; sludge handling and disposal; performing daily chlorine residual monitoring, quarterly bacteriological sampling, Lead and Copper Rule sampling, and Stage 2 Disinfection By-Product monitoring; monthly water meter readings, annual valve exercising, annual backflow prevention device testing; providing one on-site wastewater operator minimum 5 days per week; maintaining 24/7 emergency response capability with specified response times; submitting monthly reports; conducting annual inspections; and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
