Traffic Control
The contractor will install, maintain, and remove signs, barricades, temporary traffic signals, channelizers, and other traffic control devices per the attached specifications and map layout sheet. The closure will be on US 81 in Caldwell from the South City Limits to the North side of Sixth Ave. The contractor must provide a 24-hour contact, relocate devices for one traffic phase switch, and follow KDOT Standard Specifications including Division 800. The contractor shall contact Winfield Maintenance Superintendent Scott Kent at least one week prior to setting traffic control. The anticipated time frame is 4-6 weeks in summer/fall 2026.
