The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking bids for various Uniform Hats and accessories.
The contractor shall supply campaign-style felt hats (Stratton F-40-NB, navy blue, approximately 193 units annually), campaign-style straw hats (Stratton S-40DB-NB, navy blue, approximately 218 units annually), rain covers for campaign hats (Basco 130-MP-Clear, approximately 264 units annually), hat braidings with acorns (Premier Emblem CD-GD, approximately 108 units annually), Kentucky straps in black with nickel hardware (Stratton, approximately 5 units annually), and size ring measurement kits (Stratton SZ-RING, approximately 5 kits annually). All products must be new, first quality, and comply with detailed specifications for materials, construction, dimensions, and finish. The contractor shall deliver items to various KHP locations statewide, accept returns and exchanges without restocking fees, provide customer support with two designated contacts responding within seven calendar days, maintain availability of all hat sizes from 6½ to 7¾ in regular and oval shapes, and manage all shipping with tracking information. Samples will be required from selected bidders within fourteen calendar days of request. The contractor shall provide documentation of product life cycle estimates and technical literature supporting all offered items or equivalents.
