Larned State Hospital is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Physical Therapy Services for residents of the facility. These services shall be performed on hospital property at the hospital's 1,237 square foot physical therapy facility.
The contractor shall provide a Physical Therapist on an as-needed basis to perform evaluations and treatments including muscle flexibility range and motion, hot/cold packs, evaluations, sensory and strength development, manual therapy, modalities (ultrasound, e-stimulation, TENS unit), and gait and balance training. Services are expected to average approximately four hours per week, with a maximum of 312 hours per contract year, scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The contractor may utilize a Physical Therapy Assistant at its own cost. The contractor shall attend suggested hospital orientation sessions and provide appropriate credentialing documents as required by LSH, TJC, or CMS.
