The BMV believes that the following motorcycles are the safest and most compatible with Ride Safe Indiana’s training purposes: Kawasaki W125 LTD; Kawasaki Eliminator 450; Yamaha WR125RTL; Yamaha MT-03; and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
Motorcycles should have a seat height of no higher than 29 inches and have a dry weight not to exceed 400 pounds. Fuel injection is also preferred. Please note in your submission if the peddles and handlebars/controls are adjustable or not.
It is the State’s intention to purchase sixty (60) of one of these makes and models.
