Hillsborough County Engineering and Operations Department requires a qualified Contractor to provide services under a Countywide Stormwater Ditch and Side-Drain Restoration Contract. The Department intends to retain a Contractor to perform roadside ditch reshaping, side-drain installation and replacement, localized culvert work, and associated restoration activities shall be assigned at various locations across the County. Work may include regrading shoulders, slopes, and open conveyance systems to restore and promote positive drainage throughout Hillsborough County. Work will be assigned at various locations across the County. Work will be authorized on an as-needed basis through individually negotiated Work Orders.
The contract term will be one (1) year, with an option for two (2), one (1) year renewals. The Scope of Work may involve but not limited to: ditch maintenance, grading, and reshaping (spread or haul), selective vegetation removal within ditch limits, installation or replacement of side drains, cross drains, and pipe culverts, installation of inlets, outfalls, and end treatments, stormwater construction under wet conditions, localized roadway shoulder and right-of-way restoration, incidental work necessary to complete authorized restoration activities unless otherwise noted in the applicable Work Order, estimated at $4,938,100.00.
SBE Goal: In connection with this solicitation and its resulting Contract, a goal of 8% has been established for participation by SBE as Subcontractors.
