Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 194 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01. COMPETITIVE COST SEALED BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Brooks County Jail Shower Stall Replacement
Project will be received, by Brooks County Board of Commissioners, at 610 S Highland
Road, Quitman, GA 31643, until 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, local time,
at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be
withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
1.02. CONTRACTOR LICENSE
Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed to do business in the State of Georgia.
License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened
unless the license number is clearly shown. See Instructions to Bidders for additional
bidding requirements.
