Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive quotes from qualified contractors for the Gwinnett County Central
Services Canopy Addition Project for the Department of Support Services.
Quotes should be typed or submitted in ink and returned to the Attention of Jake Scarpone, Purchasing Associate
III. Quotes should be received by 3:00 P.M. on August 14, 2026 by email to Jake.Scarpone@GwinnettCounty.com
or sent to the Gwinnett County Financial Services - Purchasing Division – 2nd Floor – Financial Services, 75 Langley
Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
A pre-quote conference is scheduled for August 4, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Gwinnett County Central Services located
at 455 Grayson Highway, #200, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. All interested contractors are urged to attend. Questions
regarding quotes should be directed to Jake Scarpone, Purchasing Associate III at
Jake.Scarpone@GwinnettCounty.com or by calling 770-822-8722 no later than 3:00 P.M. on August 7, 2026. Quotes
are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. The written Quote documents supersede any verbal or
written prior communications between the parties.
Successful awarded vendor will be required to meet insurance requirements. Insurance Company must be
authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's
Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as
acceptable reinsuring companies, and must have an A.M. Best rating of A-7 or higher.

The scope of work includes procuring and installing two additional metal canopies on the Central Services site. Canopy #1 will cover an existing roll-up door and entry point for elections, approximately 56'-0" long by 8'-0" wide and 9'-0" clear to the bottom. Canopy #2 will cover an exterior dock lift, approximately 12'-3" wide by 10'-0" long with four columns, with a height large enough for a tractor trailer truck (approximately 13'-6" tall). Both canopies must include all concrete structural footing design and installation for a complete system. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work, including hauling away trash, debris, and sediment, and complying with all manufacturer recommendations and specifications.
