SECTION 001116 - INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids will be received from bidders by the Gwinnett County Board of Education at 53
Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 in the Conference Room of Building “C”
until 3:00 PM, SEPTEMBER 17th, 2026 for construction of the following:
PARTEE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HVAC MODIFICATIONS &
INTERIOR RENOVATIONS – BUILDING 2010

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Interested parties are invited to attend. Fax
transmittals and emails of Bid Proposal Forms will not be accepted by the Owner. No proposal
will be accepted after time is called. No phone will be available.

Applications for bidding documents shall be filed promptly with the Architects. Approved bidders
may obtain bidding documents electronically free of charge through the Architect.
A copy of the bidding documents (drawings and project manual) shall be available for review at
the office of the Architect, at the Owner’s office, and at Construct Connect.
Contract, if awarded, will be on a stipulated sum basis for the project listed above. No bids may
be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by
a bid bond payable to GWINNETT COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, in the amount equal to
five percent (5%) of the base bid, (certified checks are NOT acceptable).
The project involves HVAC modifications and interior renovations at Partee Elementary School (Building 2010). The work includes all construction described in the contract documents, with a start date of May 27, 2027 and substantial completion required by July 23, 2027. The contractor must mobilize within ten days of the written Notice to Proceed.
