GENERAL
SCOPE
It is the intent of the Columbus Consolidated Government (City) to establish an annual
contract with a Primary and a Secondary contractor to provide all labor, equipment and
materials for on-call plumbing installation and maintenance services during normal
business hours and after hours on an “as needed basis”, on all buildings and structures
for Columbus Consolidated Government.
The contract term will be for two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3)
additional twelve-month periods.

The contractor must provide all labor, equipment and materials for on-call plumbing installation and maintenance services, including 24/7 response to urgent plumbing issues (burst pipes, sewage backups, water main breaks, gas leaks), immediate leak detection and isolation, repair of leaking or broken pipes (copper, PVC, galvanized), faucet/toilet/urinal/sink repairs or replacements, water heater repair or replacement (including tankless), valve replacement and pressure regulation, unclogging drains/toilets/sinks/sewer lines, hydro-jetting and root removal, video camera pipe inspections, sewer line repairs or spot replacements, installation of sinks/toilets/faucets/showers/drinking fountains, ADA-compliant fixture installation, and installation of commercial-grade fixtures in restrooms or kitchens.
