Cumming City Park Retaining Wall Improvements

City Park Retaining Wall Improvements is a project including the civil site work and drainage improvements associated with the replacement of an existing retaining wall located at the Cumming Recreation & Parks Department. The scope includes demolition, grading, and drainage improvements associated with the replacement of approximately 350 LF of existing tie back walls, with approximately 390 LF of a new Versalok wall system. SEALED BIDS will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. local time on 08/11/2026, at Cumming City Hall, Department of Utilities, located at 100 Main Street, 4th Floor Suite 401, Cumming, GA 30040, then publicly announced. Bids must be submitted in a sealed, non-transparent envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words, "CUMMING CITY PARK RETAINING WALL IMPROVEMENTS', the Bidder's Georgia Utility Contractor's License Number, and Bidder's name, address, phone number and contact person. A PDF version of the Project Bidding Documents and Specifications will be made available for download upon request and payment to the City of Cumming. Upon payment of $25.00 (non-refundable), the Contractor will be added to the Plan Holders list and receive periodic notifications, addenda and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Cumming, Georgia and mailed to City of Cumming Department of Utilities, located at 100 Main Street, 4th floor, Suite 401, Cumming, GA 30040. Please include the company name, contact person, phone number, and email address. Hard copies of the Contract Documents will not be available.

The City of Cumming, Georgia (Owner) is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals (Bids) for the
construction of the following project:
CUMMING CITY PARK RETAINING WALL IMPROVEMENTS
City Park Retaining Wall Improvements is a project including the civil site work and drainage
improvements associated with the replacement of an existing retaining wall located at the
Cumming Recreation & Parks Department.
The scope includes demolition, grading, and drainage improvements associated with the
replacement of approximately 350 LF of existing tie back walls, with approximately 390 LF of a
new Versalok wall system.

No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds
Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance
with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Failure to provide the bidder’s Georgia Utility Contractor’s License
Number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid.
All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the
project will be obtained prior to Construction.
