General Notice
City of Buford, Georgia is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
BUFORD SOUTHSIDE WPCP SECONDARY CLARIFIER
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Buford City Hall located at 2300
Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia 30518, until 10:00 A.M. local time, September 29, 2026. At that
time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Work includes installation of an 80-foot wide by 14-foot-tall circular concrete secondary
clarifier at the Southside Water Pollution Control Plant. Associated work includes site grading
electrical upgrades, elevated metal stairs & platform with railings, process piping and valving, and
erosion and sediment control measures. The Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials
necessary to complete the authorized Work.
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at Buford City Hall, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia
30518 on September 9, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. All bidders are encouraged to attend this conference.
No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds
Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance
with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14.
All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the
project will be obtained prior to Construction.
