SECTION 1000 - SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS- The construction of approximately ± 4,656 LF of Cured in Place Pipe and Pipe bursting gravity sewer, approximately ± 17 Manhole Rehabilitations, a permanent generator, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the job.

Build America, Buy America (BABA) Contract Clause
All requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41 USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended, shall be complied with if applicable to the infrastructure project. Pursuant to HUD's Notice, "Public Interest Phased Implementation Waiver for FY 2022 and 2023 of Build America, Buy America Provisions as Applied to Recipients of HUD Federal Financial Assistance' (88 FR 17001), any funds obligated by HUD on or after the applicable listed effective dates, are subject to BABA requirements, unless excepted by a waiver.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received for the Sanitary Sewer System Improvements, CDBG No. 25p-x-091-2-
6795_, at the Ludowici City Hall, 469 N Macon Street, Ludowici, Georgia 31316, until 11:00A.M.
(Local Time), on August 20, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following:
SECTION 1000 - SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS- The construction of
approximately ± 4,656 LF of Cured in Place Pipe and Pipe bursting gravity sewer, approximately ± 17
Manhole Rehabilitations, a permanent generator, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the job.
All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to
proceed.
Bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the
Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications which are on file and may be reviewed (by
appointment only) at the City of Baxley at the address above and the office of Hofstadter and
Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
Copies of Bid Forms, Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from Hofstadter
and Associates, Inc., 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, upon deposit of $200.00 per set
(.pdf format). No refund will be made for returned documents.
No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Ludowici prior to the time set forth
above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Ludowici for 10 percent of the
amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the
bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and
Performance Bond
