ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners (County) is seeking sealed bids from qualified firms to
provide landscape maintenance at four (4) I-20 interchanges in Douglas County. Bidder(s) must
furnish all materials, labor and equipment.
All solicitation documents may be obtained from the Douglas County website

Bidders are required to visit the project prior to submitting a proposal to gain a full understanding of
the scope of work for the project.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 10 AM EST at the site located at
8251 Chicago Avenue, Douglasville, GA 30134
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Board of Commissioners of Douglas
County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid for the complete work. The Bid Bond
shall be forfeited to the Board of Commissioners of Douglas County, Georgia as liquidated damages
if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and
Liability Insurance Certificate within fifteen (15) calendar days after being notified that he/she has
been awarded the contract.
A required performance bond is to be 100% of the contract amount and a required payment bond is
to be 100% of the contract amount.
All bidders must be registered with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and all
subcontractors must be registered with GDOT. Qualifications of the Bidder will be reviewed before
the Award of the Contract. The County may award the contract to other than low Bidder. The
Douglas County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive
informalities.
