General Notice
The Bartow County Water Department (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the
following Project:
Paga Mine Water Supply Well Project
BCWD. 26-55-04
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Bartow County Commissioner’s Office
located at Bartow County, Georgia located in the Frank Moore Administration Building, 135 West
Cherokee Avenue, Suite 251, Cartersville, Georgia 30120, Telephone: 770-387-5030, until Wednesday,
September 9th at 2:00, PM EST local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and
read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation of a potable well and water treatment facility. The work includes water lines, force
main, a water system interconnection, chemical feed pumps, softening equipment, disinfection
process unit and associated storage and filtration tanks, a sewer connection and force main for
process water disposal, a brine delivery system, access roads fencing and pre-engineered metal
building of dimensions 50’x40’.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on lump-sum basis as indicated in the
Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The Project has an expected duration of 300 days.
