INVITATION TO BID
Bulloch County Board of Education request sealed bids from General Contractors for the construction of:
Stilson Elementary School New Generator and Lighting Replacement
Bulloch County, Georgia
Bids will be received by the Bulloch County Board of Education (Owner) at the Board of Education Office,
located at 150 Williams Road, Suite A, Statesboro, GA. 30458
The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Bulloch County Board of Education Office located at 150
Williams Road, Suite A, Statesboro, GA. 30458 on October 20, 2026, at 2:00p.m. LOCAL TIME.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on September 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. LOCAL TIME at Stilson
Elementary School, 15569 Highway 119, Brooklet, GA., 30415. The Pre-bid Conference is mandatory in order to
submit a bid. Prospective Bidders not attending the Pre-Bid Conference will not be allowed to submit bids on the
project.
Bidding documents may be obtained with a written request via U.S. Mail at the office of the architect, James W.
Buckley and Associates, Inc.: 114 North Green Street, Swainsboro, Georgia 30401, Attn: Teresa Moore or by
email to tam@jwbuckley.com. Written request shall be on company letterhead and include firm name, principal
(owner), phone number, and mailing address with project name, dated and signed. Additionally, any questions
regarding the bid documents or the bid process should be directed to Frank Neagle at fan@jwbuckley.com
Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has
been called on the date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond and in an amount not less than 5% of
the base bid.
