Design Professional Services for Project No. J-469-DP, Cochran Campus Domestic Water System Replacement, Middle Georgia State University, Cochran, Georgia. The project will replace the domestic water storage and distribution system on the Cochran campus, including replacement of all underground piping (with existing lines likely abandoned in place) and the 55-year-old 150,000-gallon tank, along with modernization and strengthening of valves, fittings, filters, and other system components. During trenching, other underground distribution infrastructure (hot/chilled water, electric, fiber) will be evaluated for selective replacement and upgrade. The design professional will provide comprehensive planning and design services including program validation, existing site conditions analyses, measured drawings, conceptual design, schematic design, design development documents, construction documents, construction administration, interior design, and commissioning support. The project will incorporate sustainable design and construction concepts and requires Georgia Peach certification with commissioning.
