General Notice
City of Chamblee, Georgia is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals (Bids) for the construction of the
following Project:
WOODACRES NATURE PRESERVE
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Chamblee City Hall located at 3518 Broad
Street, Chamblee, Georgia, until 1:00 PM. local time, July 30, 2026. At that time the Bids received will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
The construction of a natural neighborhood recreation area on city property located at the terminus
of Woodacres Road NE with access from Clairmont Terrace NE. The project scope includes
development of a 12’ concrete path, pedestrian bridge, boulder walls, landscaping, other natural
park features, erosion/sediment control measures, labor and materials necessary to install the
authorized work.
There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at Chamblee City Hall, 3518 Broad St, Chamblee,
Georgia 30341 on July 08, 2026 at 11:00 AM. All bidders are encouraged to attend this conference.
All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the project
will be obtained prior to Construction.
Bidders should make positive efforts to use small and minority owned businesses.
A satisfactory Bid Bond (in the amount of 5% of the Bid), executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety
company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, will accompany each BID. In lieu of a Bid
Bond, the City will accept a cashier's check, certified check, or cash deposit in an amount equal to at least
