1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) is seeking qualified vendors to provide quotes for
the procurement of one (1) Remote Slope Mower. The unit shall be a tracked machine with
front-mounted or dedicated flail mowing implement suitable for grass, weeds, vines, and
brush clearing.
1.2 The mower shall be brand new, unused, and free of defects, and shall include all standard
equipment, software, accessories, and charging infrastructure required for full operation as
provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
The bidder must supply one (1) brand new, unused, defect-free Remote Slope Mower that is a tracked machine with a front-mounted or dedicated flail mowing implement. The unit must be capable of safely mowing steep slopes, drainage ditches, embankments, stormwater ponds, and other difficult-to-access terrain at commercial airports, and must cut dense grasses, woody vegetation, vines, and brush up to 2 inches in diameter. The mower must be delivered fully assembled, installed, serviced, and ready for operation, and must include all standard equipment, software, accessories, and charging infrastructure as provided by the OEM. The delivery point is 640 Gulfstream Road, Savannah, GA 31408. The bidder must also provide two copies of parts, shop repair, and operator's manuals, a factory-recommended preventive maintenance schedule, and four sets of keys with fobs. Onsite training may be requested by the Commission.
