Portable Generators Re-Bid (EPA Funding)

The City of Temple, Texas is seeking sealed bids from responsible firms to provide mobile diesel generator equipment for the City’s Water Treatment Plant.

Bids are requested for two mobile diesel generator types:
• Generator A: Mobile Diesel Generator, 850-Gallon or More Fuel Capacity (preferred)
• Generator B: Mobile Diesel Generator, Between 550- and 849-Gallon Fuel Capacity

Generator A is preferred; however, the City is requesting pricing for both types to allow flexibility in selecting the most cost-effective option based on bid results and funding availability.

Bidders may submit pricing for either or both generator types. Submission of pricing for both is not required.

The City may evaluate each generator type independently and reserves the right to purchase any combination or quantity of equipment that provides the best value to the City, at the City’s sole discretion.

This purchase will be funded in part by a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant. Accordingly, this Invitation to Bid (ITB) and any resulting contract shall be governed by all applicable local, state, and federal procurement regulations, including but not limited to 2 CFR 200, 2 CFR 1500, and 40 CFR 33.
