Commodity or Service Required: Beamex Calibration Systems and Support Service Description: Lee County Utilities seeks to execute a sole-source purchase for Beamex calibration systems which includes equipment, tools, systems, accessories and services to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments used at water and wastewater treatment facilities. Their Products and services include portable calibrators, pressure and temperature calibrators, onsite training, and CMX calibration management software. The solutions help maintain the precision of instruments crucial for monitoring and controlling water treatment processes to ensure water quality and safety. Intended Sole Source: Beamex, Inc. Justification for Sole Source Acquisition: BEAMEX, INC. is the sole provider and manufacturer of the CMX Professional Calibration Software, Software Support, Beamex Certified Training, MC6 Calibrator/ Communicator and all associated accessories and services. BEAMEX, INC. is the only company that can provide support services for Beamex systems. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to purchase from Beamex, Inc. to supply the above.
